Chikkamagaluru: ACB to investigate disproportionate assets case against C T Ravi

Daijiworld Media Network - Chikkamagaluru (SP)

Chikkamagaluru, Oct 7: It is the turn of local MLA, C T Ravi, to face the allegation of possession of assets disproportionate to his known sources of income. Lokayukta special court at Bengaluru has asked Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) to investigate the case and submit report within four months.

An RTI activist from the town, C Kumar, had filed private complaint in Lokayukta court against C T Ravi. The judge of the court, who concluded the hearing into the complaint on Thursday, ordered that an ACB officer of the level of deputy superintendent of police should investigate the case and file report. The report has been sought to be tabled before January 7, 2017.

As per his own declarations furnished to income tax department and Lokayukta, Ravi had declared his income between 2004 and 2010 at Rs 49 lac. But during this period, the complainant had said that he had amassed wealth worth over three crore rupees. He also has been accused by the complainant of possessing Benami properties. He also had provided documentary evidences to the court, seeking to order investigation into them.

As soon as they get copy of the order, Anti Corruption Bureau officials might raid the house of Ravi and ocnduct investigation.

In the meanwhile, advocate for the petitioner, Jagadish, said that his client has found that Ravi had amassed assets that were 207 percent over and above the income declared by him. He said that the court had been requested to register FIR and conduct investigation.

Before joining BJP he is his using religion for popularity. Now he is using 'Laxmi' for his ultimate survival.

BJP is the best party to be joined if one wants to billionaire faster than 'Forbes' list.

One can go through his affidavit for nomination for elections, assets are double and tripled in five years.

No other business is so profitable other than BJP party.

If they are real working towards betterment of nation for development, why BJP don't post funds like AAP in portal? Why BJP MLA's and MP's don't disclose the assets voluntarily every quarter?

why wait till reports are coming and raid?Noone raids after informing. That means they have enough time to do what to be done .All shows.Instead of keeping secret and investigating, first publish, ask him, report etc.and raid.Fine End effect, everything is legal.
