Mangaluru: Lorry-bike collision at Hosangadi - one dies, another serious

Mangaluru, Oct 8: In a collision of two vehicles that took place at Hosangadi on Mangaluru-Kasargod highway, the pillion rider lost his life on the way to hospital on Sunday, October 9. The rider is seriously injured and is taking treatment.

The name of the deceased is Shivappa from Adyar near Mangaluru. 

A lorry hit the bike which was driven by Ramachandra. The locals and police arranged a vehicle to send injured Shivappa and Ramachandra to a hospital Mangaluru. But Shivappa died on the way.

It is said that Shivappa and Ramachandra were going to Manjeshwar to invite friends and relatives for a house warming function.

Manjeshwar police have begun investigations.
