Mangaluru: Abhaychandra Jain dismisses rumours on retirement from politics

Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru (SP)

Mangaluru, Oct 10: Moodbidri MLA and former minister, K Abhaychandra Jain, clarified that rumours making the rounds about him taking political retirement were false. "They are just rumours. There is no truth in them," he stated.

Jain felt that he still has a lot of service to render by being in politics. He added that he is neither interested in retiring from politics, nor has anyone advised him to do so.

When questioned by media persons about the news that Jain had said that he had decided to make way for youngsters in the Congress by not contesting for the MLA post again, during the tea party in the company of chief minister at the residence of chief whip of the legislative council, Ivan D'Souza, Jain said "I am 65. Youth have to get a chance to serve. I have already served six terms as MLA,"

On a question whether there are plans to make him district Congress president, Jain said, 'wait and watch', before smiling and going away.

I am really surprised that some of the writers are name calling political leaders whether it is Modi /Rahul Gandhi / Yediyurappa / Siddaramaiya.Let me tell you politics is not easy. There is no need to humiliate them as they are your representatives. Do challenge them or critisize them but don't call names.

I would like to inform you that I have my roots from Mudabidri. It was always a safe haven for Congress. After the recent Murder this has changed. Everybody knows how was the approach of Abayachandra during this situation and he didn't have guts to talk. I have come across people talking n that they will show Abayachandra in the next election. This even he knows what it will be if he stands again. He will lose in a big margin. I used to always say that Congress is responsible for BJP winning seats in our Undivided district. BJP was no where 25 yrs back. Moodabidri and Bantwal were the most safe seats for Congress. Congress is always saying that they are the best etc but they are losing miserably in this area. I'm not saying BJP is good but they are too are same. Hence our Abayachandra wants to stay away from the next election and try for some other position in Congress. Pls note im neither a Congress supporter, nor BJP nor any Religious organisation. I want everybody to be united irrespective of caste, religion etc and work for the overall development of our undivided district and help in getting our Youths jobs.

    You are absolutely right.

But BJP supported Sangh Parivar have the master plan to spoil the peace in Coastal Karnataka for their selfish benefits.

Do you know, after the murder in last year, the people of Mudabidri have not reacted to any violence or no religious fights.

    It is satisfying for himself.
Concerning to your challenge of Urulu seva is nullified when i don't believe in such urulu sevas.

For God walking truthfully, righteously and lawfully will keep a person in the eternity.

Whether you like it or not but the truth is people of DK has been voting keeping in eye the Prime minister not the local MP Candidate…I still remember people saying we are not voting for Dhananjay Kumar we are voting for Vajpayee. We are not voting for Nalin Kumar we are voting for Modi…You have a good opinion regarding JP Hegde but he lost the previous election by 180,000 votes compare to Mr.Poojary’s 140,000 votes. BTW he has not stopped any youngster for the MP candidate. Youngsters should grow but on their own. Simply crying that Mr.Poojary is not allowing me to grow dosent make any sense. God has given equal strength to everyone. Even Manmohan Singh is aged but I feel he is much better than any youngster.

    Dear Nithin Poojary, Mangalore,

Whipping from your own yard stick,

Janardhana Poojary was elected from Mangalore constituency for the 6th Lok Sabha in 1977 in the name of Indira Gandhi not at his own might people voted in the name of Indira Gandhi.

Janardhana Poojary was re-elected after Indira Gandhi's assassination from the sympathy votes not from his own.

Later he tried to win from his own and up till now he failed to win because of his inefficiency and wrong tongue utilised in the wrong place.

Tell Dr. Manmohan Singh now is he ready to take P.M., position He will directly reject enough for me.

Give M.P. ticket from Mangalore to Janardhana Poojary, he still ready to take it. But he is not a winning candidate. He is a BJP RSS joining
    candidate.

Poojary joining BJP or RSS in your dreams...BTW in 1999 and 2004 Veerappa Moily contested the MP election from Mangalore why he lost...he is a good leader according to you...

Veerappa Moily and Janardhana poojary have feud in between both in Mangalore as a result Moily contested from Chickkaballapur.

Moily's failure was people voted for vajapayee and janardhana poojary peoples cross voting / against V.P.,

1999 as you said, people voted for Vajpayee and the same was repeated in Mangalore in the year 2004.

Where as in the north India Vajapayee lost miserably because of wrong polices of NDA

EVEN IF INTELLIGENCE WAS AVAILABLE LETHARGIC ATTITUDES PREVAILED attending to KARGIL WAR.

KANDHAR EPISODE A BLUNDER FROM NDA.

RELEASING AZHAR MASOOD FROM THE JAIL.

FRIENDSHIP WITH BOTH PAKISTAN AND BANGLADESH BACK FIRED.

GUJARAT EPISODE IN THE YEAR 2000 ALSO WAS A REASON OF NDA'S DEBACLE IN THE YEAR 2004.

JANARDHAN POOJARY IS A CUNNING FELLOW.

    NA JEETHOONGA NA JEETHNE DHOONGA.

VEERAPPA MOILY HAS LOST YES. BUT LATER ON HE WAS A MINISTER AND NOW A M.P.

In my opinion congress should throw out both V.P AND J.P.

GIVE CHANCES TO NEW YOUNG LEADERS.
