Kasargod: Gas tanker tumbles at Chervatthur, fire brigade averts danger

Kasargod, Oct 10: A bullet tanker transporting liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) from Mangaluru to Kannur toppled near Chervathhur on the National Highway here on Monday, October 10.

This accident took place after the driver reportedly lost control over driving.

Fire service and police personnel iimdiately rushed to spot to take pre-cautionary measures.

There was no gas leakage from the tanker after the accident.

Due to the incident, traffic inconvenience on the highway was reported for some minutes. But due to the timely services from fire brigade and police personnel the situation was managed.
