1,125 Ashraya beneficiaries to receive govt grants

Mangaluru, Nov 16: MLA J R Lobo has said that 1,125 Ashraya beneficiaries from south Vidhana Sabha constituency will be receiving grant in aid from the government through the banks.

Speaking at a programme held at Sarvamangala auditorium, Garodi on November 15, he said that Rs 3,40,000 each will be jointly paid by the union government, state government and the corporation. “Rs 1,60,000 will be paid through banks. The beneficiaries need to deposit Rs 30,000 in banks. The remaining loan should be repaid to the bank in the form of pygmy,” he said.

Corporators Pravin Chandra Alva, Prakash, Asha Gretta, Sriyan Shashidhar, Hemanth Garodi and Sesamma were present.

    I am confused now.Ashrams are beneficiarys to recieve grants.and they have to pay back?is it not a help?From what they can give back?Help is a good Thing.
