Kundapur: Shilpa Nag takes charge as sub-divisional officer

Kundapur, Nov 21: Following the promotion of Kundapur sub-divisional official S Ashwathi as Davangere CEO, Shilpa Nag took charge as the new sub-divisional official on Monday, November 21.

A farewell to the former sub-divisional officer Ashwathi S and a welcome programme to the new assistant commissioner was organized in a simple programme.

S Ashwathi meanwhile thanked all those who helped her to successfully perform the duties.

Newly appointed assistant commissioner Shilpa Nag, said that she may require few days to know the system. “I will study the situation in two to three weeks after speaking to the local people. I have set aside two weeks for the purpose. I will be indulging in my duties completely after it”, she said.

Officials expressed that the new in-charge has started her work swiftly than the earlier sub divisional officers.

“Though the government has brought about new law, you have to successfully implement it,” they said.
