Mangaluru: NSS annual camp to be organized from Nov 25 to Dec 1

Mangaluru, Nov 28: The NSS unit of Besant Women’s College will be organizing an NSS annual camp at DKZP Govt Higher Primary School, Kodman, Bantwal taluk from November 25 to December 1.

The tagline of the camp will be ‘Youth for Science and Scientific temperament’. The camp will be inaugurated by Dr Ganesh V Bhat, principal, Canara Engineering College, Benjanapadavu on November 25 at 3.00 pm.

The inaugural ceremony will be presided over by Manel Annappa Nayak, vice president. Women’s National Education Society, College correspondent K Devananda P and principal Dr Sathish Kumar Shetty P, will be present on the dias.

Sessions on youth and changing mental attitude, leadership and social service, lecture, demonstration and Q & A session, discussion with the old students and sports events for the campers will be conducted during the camp.

Construction of school ground and kitchen garden, environmental protection, personality development and information on need for developing scientific temperament will be the camp projects said professor Jayashree, associate professor, department of commerce, Besant Women’s College.
