Manglauru, Nov 29: N Sundar Holla (73), former deputy tahsildar and current resident of Samethadka, who had suffered serious injuries after an auto rickshaw hit him recently, passed away on Monday November 28 at a private hospital in the city.
Holla, who was crossing the road after alighting from a bus, was hit by a three-wheeler on November 22. He had suffered grievous injuries in this accident. He was immediately admitted into a private hospital here, but he could not be saved.
The deceased had worked at Puttur as village officer, first grade assistant in the office of the assistant commissioner, and as deputy tahsildar in the city before retiring. He is survived by wife, a son, and a daughter.
