Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru (SP)

Mangaluru, Dec 2: Dakshina Kannada district superintendent of police (SP), Bhushan Gulabrao Borase, true to the spirit of a kind Samaritan, helped an accident victim to get medical assistance without delay. The incident took place at around 8.30 pm on Thursday December 1.

Borase was returning home from office in his office car, when he saw a crowd near TMA Pai Convention Centre on M G Road. He got down from the vehicle to find out what was wrong. After seeing that a motor bike rider had fallen from his vehicle and fractured his leg, he carried him to Yenepoya Hospital in his office vehicle, it is gathered.

No one in the crowd of watchers had taken the initiative to help the injured youth although he was seen begging for help, it is gathered. Borase chose not to wait for the arrival of an ambulance as it would have caused avoidable delay. The youth, it is gathered, is being treated at the said hospital now.

A JOB VERY WELL ACCOMPLISHED. Kudos to versatile Mr. Bhushan. You have indeed proved to be A PEOPLES' MAN.
A high ranking Officer as you are you did not hesitate to help a poor man on the streets of Mangalore. This kind of dedication to people is a very rare trait in officers. No doubt we have other Police Officers too in Mangalore who strive to serve people. Hope Mr. Bhushan's tenure in Mangalore will be along one and a fruitful one too.

We are lacking such kind of Officers in our State. A truly spirited Police Officer who is more than a practical man. Amidst the watching crowd around the victim he has done a good job in his exemplary good samaritan deed. Let other Officers learn from you what to do when somebody is involved in such accident cases.

In India, people are willing to help but after that, the person who helped need too many difficulties due to police enquiries. As an SP it's his duty to give these kinds of examples to.people .to save many lives.

in most cases it is presumed that the person who has caused the accident has brought the victim to the hospital and the police break the leg of the person who brought the victim to the hospital and then later find out that he was just helping the victim and now you have two people admitted in the same hospital side by side
