Shivamogga: Three pilgrims die, two injured, in car accident

Shivamogga, Dec 5: After a Maruti car went out control of its driver and tumbled down, three persons died on the spot, while two others suffered injuries. The accident occurred near Kumsi village in the taluk on Sunday December 4.

Jayadev, Manjunath and Dhananjay from Madanayakahalli in Bengaluru lost their lives in the accident. One of the injured was admitted into a private hospital at Bengaluru for treatment, while the other stands admitted into Mcgann Hospital in the city.

All the occupants of the car were on a pilgrimage to Sigandur temple.
