Kundapur, Dec 6: Shata Chandika Yaga was held at Mahakali temple here on Sunday December 4 due to the upcoming Sahasra Kumbhabhishekam. Thousands of devotees were present. Several religious rituals were performed since Sunday morning. Sharada Peethadheesha Bharathi Theertha and his disciple Vidhushekhara Bharathi conducted Brahma Kumbhabhishekam on Monday December 5 morning at 9.45 am.

Bharathi Theertha Swamy speaking on the occasion said that no love in the world can match mother's love. The divine mother called by different names such as Mahakali, Sharada, Saraswathi etc has the power to get rid of all our problems, he said.

President of the temple management committee, members, hundreds of community members and devotees were present.
