Mangaluru, Dec 20: The Kavoor police on Monday December 19 arrested a drug peddler near Kulur.
The accused has been identified as Imtiaz.
Based on credible information, the Kavoor police led by inspector Nataraj and SI Umesh raided the spot and arrested Imitiaz who was trying to sell ganja near Kulur.
Another accused, identified as Azeez of Manjanady in Konaje managed to escape.
The police seized 2 kg of ganja, a motorcycle and Rs 5,000 in cash from the accused.
A case has been registered in Kavoor police station.
