Bhatkal, Dec 26: A six-year-old boy from Bhatkal was killed in an accident in Dubai late evening on Saturday December 24.

The deceased has been identified as Yalah, son of Moulana Yusha Mohtisham.

Yalah was returning home from Irani Bazar on his bicycle after attending a class when the accident took place.

Sources said that the car, which was on the correct lane, first climbed on the boy's leg and when passersby shouted at the car driver, the latter got confused and suddenly reversed his car, due to which the wheel of the car climbed on the boy's head and also smashed his bicycle.

The boy's father who lives close by rushed to the spot, but his son had already breathed his last by then.

Yalah's body was taken to Rashid Hospital soon after the accident, and was later shifted to Al-Qiyadah.

The body was handed over to the family after legal procedures.

Yalah was studying in Our Own High School in Dubai in second standard. He was the youngest among the four children of Moulana Yusha.
