Mangaluru: SAC alumni to present mega music event 'Concert 4 Aloysius '17'

Mangaluru, Dec 28: Mangaluru’s preeminent 137-year-old education institution St Aloysius College is to host a spectacular musical event on January 7, 2017, to celebrate the achievements of their alumni spanning over a century and their contributions to many spectrums of society. The event named ‘Concert 4 Aloysius ‘17’ will be held at the historic St Aloysius centenary campus grounds.

Countless young men and women have passed through the portals of this great institution and have carved an enviable niche for themselves in India and in countries across the world. Thanks to the name and fame they have brought to their alma mater, the college stands poised to become a University.

Ex-Aloysians from across the globe have come together to organize this unique event which promises to be a mesmerizing evening filled with ‘Peace, Love & Music’. The concert is expected to attract an international audience numbering well over 5000, who will be enthralled by live performances featuring renowned Indian ethnic musician - Guru Kiran, Mangaluru’s iconic rock, metal band from the 80s – Livin’ Machine, multi-talented band SAC Rock Revival and many other performances by talented Aloysian musicians both past and present, national and international.

An array of food stalls vending local culinary delights will certainly add to the family friendly, festive atmosphere of the evening.

    Wow! I have only seen/ heard of a concert
    On this scale in Mumbai. Reminds me of those classic Rock Bands like Savage Encounter, AtomicForest,Waterfront, Exodus etc! All the best!
