M'luru: Dr Nischith D'Souza elected Secretary of Karnataka Urology Association

Mangaluru, Dec 29: Dr Nischith D'Souza, director of Mangalore Kidney Care, and the consultant urologist and robotic surgeon at Yenepoya University Hospital, was elected as the secretary of Karnataka Urology Association for years 2016-18, at the annual conference of the Karnataka Urology Association, KUACON in Goa recently.

The post is the second highest in the  Association that comprises over 200 members from all over the state.

Karnataka Urology  Association (KUA) along with the South Zonal Association and the Urology Society of India, helps further the professional and academic interests of its members. KUA holds regular scientific sessions with both urology trainees and its permanent members, to provide academic updates for improving the quality of urology services.

Dr Nischith Dsouza had also been invited to the European Meeting of Urological Cancers in Milan, Italy recently where he had presented his work on 'Bladder Cancer'.
