Mangaluru, Dec 30: The Foundation stone laying ceremony and brochure release of ‘Walk In Arcadia’, the third residential project of Walk in Builders and Developers was held on Commander George Martis Road at Kadri on Friday, December 30.
The parish priest of Bendore church Fr Antony Serrao blessed the premises along with Fr Darrel Fernandes, the editor of ‘Sevak’ Konkani magazine and also inaugurated the programme.
The chief guest of the event was MLA of Mangaluru South Constituency JR Lobo who launched the brochures of the new luxury residential apartment complex.
Speaking on the occasion, Lobo wished good luck for the new project and said "More than creating new apartments, we need to create the market for new apartments. This can be done by helping investors to invest more on the sectors like industries, tourism etc so that our youth who work in Bengaluru and overseas countries come back and build their livelihood here and thus live in these apartments."
"The prime reason behind the investors not investing in this city is because of the 1% of the anti social- elements. 99% of us do tolerate this and keep mum. If we raise our voice against these elements, they will not dare to disrupt peace in the city and hence all of can make Mangaluru as an investor-friendly city.” Lobo added.
The Managing director of Walk in Builders and Developers Naveen D Paula welcomed all while Nihal D Paula proposed vote of thanks.
