Kasargod, Jan 1: A person died and three sustained injuries due to stabbing at Ravaneshwar at Kanhangad on early Sunday, January 1.
Kumaran (50) is the person deceased. His wife Vatsala (40) , son Prasad(24) are the injured.
Four persons have been accused of murdering Kumaran. Deceased’s three brothers Padmanabha, Raghavan, Narayana and Sridharan are the accused.
There was some argument between brothers regarding digging of borewell at the place belonging to Kumaran on Saturday evening. After late night, the quarrel started again when the Kumaran was stabbed by the accused.
Though Kumaran was rushed to hospital immediately, he was declared dead on arrival.
Hosadurga police have registered a case.
