Udupi, Jan 3: JCI Kaup, one of the 15 prestigious zones amongst JCI India bagged four national level awards for the year 2016.

The first women's unit president of JCI Kaup, Soumya Rakesh was presented an award for India's best unit president of JCI India, Rakesh Kunjoor was presented an award for best zonal vice president runner and for best JCI week award. In addition, he bagged the best unit award in development and growth of JCI week conducted in 2016.

The awards were conferred at the 21st JCI national Conference in Bengaluru, by JCI's first women national president Rajashree Baje on Soumya Rakesh, first unit president of JCI Kaup.

JCI national vice president Hardik Kapadia, Gunavanth Baje, JCI law convenor Shridhar P S, zonal president Sandeep Kumar, new zonal president Santhosh G, east zonal president Chandra Shekar Nair, Krishna Mohan P S. Former president Jagadish Bangera, Jaycerette president Aruna Aithal, youth JC president Dheeraj Suvarna, Guru Prasad along with 15 other zonal JC members were present.
