I have lost a good friend and spiritual guide. During his tenure as rector at SVD House Kirem, I had the privilege to organise many shows of ‘Television Nite’ in association with Fr Charles Vas & Fr Gregory Pinto (now the provincial of SVD) – both were deacons then. TV had not arrived to our region then, still people thronged to see TV singers from Theresian Music Group, Bandra and our all shows were played to full houses.

We met almost 39 years later accidentally at Gyan Ashram in Mumbai and we found ourselves staying in adjacent rooms at Soverdia House. (During the day we had traveled in the same flight but did not recognize each other)
A great priest who had compassion for the poor and needy. As a rector of Junior Seminary he had sourced almost 50 youth to work in Christ’s Vineyard from a single parish, Tacode. I look forward to meet him sometime up there.
