Mangaluru, Jan 6: Carmelite priests released Carmel Bible Diary 2017 at the Infant Jesus Shrine, Bikarnakatte on Thursday, January 5. The Bible diary was released on the first day of the novena to Shrine.

The book was released by Fr Joe Tauro (Superior, St Joseph’s Monastery), Fr Melwin Noronha (parish priest, Borimar), Fr Raymond Santhanaz (Missionary in Tanzania) and Fr Praveen Pinto (Director, Dhyanavana Publications).

The Bible diary gives daily readings and reflections on the Word of God for the Liturgical year 2017 in Konkani. These reflections were prepared by Carmelite friars and published by Dhyanavana Publications and is priced Rs 150.

This book can be used for family prayer and to give to friends and family as a precious gift.

Fr Elias D'Souza (Shrine director) was also present during the release.
