Mangaluru, Jan 13: Police at Ullal police station have arrested K C Road Tacchani resident Iqbal (20), a suspect of damaging the car of Congress district spokesman, Melangadi Juma Masjid president and Ullal municipal council member Faruk Ullal. The car was reportedly parked in front of the house of Faruk Ullal. The windshield of the car was shattered. Police are on the look our for Iqbal's accomplices.

Faruk Ullal had raised his voice against robbery from tourists visiting the Darga, Hafta from people and shops in Darga premises. There were allegations that Ganja addicts have damaged his car. A complaint against the suspects causing a loss of Rs 80,000 was registered at Ullal police station.
