Mysuru, May 6: A youth who had difficulty in choosing his life partner between his lover and a close relative, finally decided to marry his lover. He tied nuptial knots on May 3 and hanged himself on Thursday May 4.
The deceased happened to Nagayya Mathapathi from Haveri, working as bus conducted for Bangalore Metro Transport Corporation at Bengaluru. Nagayya was a student of BEd course in a college in the city eight years back, when he had fallen in love with a girl from Paduvarahalli here.
In the recent past, under pressure from parents, Nagayya had agreed to marry the daughter of his father's sister. His marriage was to take place shortly.
In the meanwhile, under pressure from his long-time lover, Nagayya married his lover on May 3. Actual reason for this suicide are yet to be ascertained by the police.
