Bantwal, Jun 2: A local named Mohan (20) ended his life at Narikombu village in the taluk by hanging himself. His body was found hanging on Thursday June 1 morning.

Mohan had left his home on Wednesday morning to work in Mogarnadu. He came back in the afternoon. He is said to have told his mother that he was suffering from stomach ache. He left home for work again after sometime.

He did not come back home thereafter.His body was found hanging from a tree in a hillock some distance away from his home on Thursday morning. No reasons could be immediately attributed to the youngster's decision to take away his life.

A case of unnatural death was registered at the town police station here.
