Dharwad, Jun 3: A conductor committed suicide inside a bus belonging to Northeast Karnataka Road Transport Corporation on Friday June 2. He hanged himself inside the bus.
Abbas Ali Abdul Hameed (45), the victim, was from Dumasur village in Bidar taluk. He had come to the town on Thursday night in a bus. After dinner, both the driver, identified as Mahadeva Raddy, and Hameed, had gone to sleep inside the bus. Reddy said that on waking up on Friday morning, he found that the conductor had killed himself.
On the basis of a complaint filed by the driver, police have registered a case. Investigation has been taken up.
