Kasargod, June 6: Urging comprehensive investigation into the murder of Kayyar Mandekap based entrepreneur Ramakrishna Moolya, a rally was held to the office of Kumble Police circle inspector under the leadership of Sangh Pariwar on Tuesday, June 6.

BJP district president Srikanth inaugurated the protests.

The police personnel stopped  the party workers in the rally who walked past the Kumble Shantipalla Gopalakrishna auditorium area.

“There is a conspiracy by some forces behind the murder. There is an attempt to cover the case. There is help from outside forces to it. Money is being collected for the purpose. The case is being compared to the attempted theft that occurred a month ago. Police are acting according to statement of suspects. A high level enquiry will bring out the truth,” said Srikanth.

Satischandra Bhandary, president of BJP Manjeshwar Mandala presided over the programme. Chief secretary Muralidhar Yadav, former district BJP president Suresh Kumar Shetty, V Balakrishna Shetty, Prasad Rai, Kuntaru Ravish Tantry and others spoke on occasion.

A group of four suspects had entered the shop of Ramakrishna Moolya at Mandekapu in the afternoon on May 4 and killed Moolya by hacking him with lethal weapons. Four people are arrested so far in connection with the case.
