Mangaluru: Karnataka coast receives good rainfall - likely to intensify

Mangaluru, Jun 7: The city and other parts of Dakshina Kannada as well as Udupi districts received good rainfall during the night on Tuesday June 6. During the day, there were considerable dry patches between spells of rain.

Bantwal, Beltangady, Sullia and Puttur taluks reported good rainfall. Udupi, Karkala, and Brahmavar got some rain. Rainfall was considerably less in Kinnigoly, Mulky, Moodbidri and surrounding areas.

The meteorological department has predicted chances of some places in the coast and southern inland getting heavy rainfall during the period till Thursday morning.
