Mangaluru: Principals' association expresses unhappiness over revised academic calendar

Mangaluru, Jun 12: Mangalore University Private College Principals Association has expressed its unhappiness over the revised academic calendar announced by the University without consulting principals.

The academic calendar earlier decided by the University in the principals' meeting convened by the University agreed on a calendar after a lot of deliberations. There are many anomalies in the new calendar which cause confusion.

The association has requested the University to avoid such confusion in these matters and continue the good tradition of discussing academic calendar in the principals meeting. Any change later on could be made after giving the freedom to principals to have a say in these matters.

A press note issued jointly by association president Prof Samuel K Samuel, vice-president Prof Rajan V N and general secretary Prof Raveesh Kumar has requested the University to take principals into confidence while announcing changes in the already agreed and decided matters.
