Mangaluru, Jun 16: ‘Kalakulotsav’, a two-day Konkani drama festival by ‘Kalakul’ – Konkani’s lone theatre repertory, run by Mandd Sobhann, will be held at Town Hall, Mangaluru on June 18 and 25.
The four plays which will be showcased are ‘Magirchem Magir’ written by Chafra D’Costa on June 18 at 5.30 pm. ‘Dev ani Denvchar’ written by Arun Raj Rodrigues on June 18 at 7.30 pm. ‘1+1=1’ comprising of ‘Vishentiche Bhav’ by Chafra D’Costa and ‘8 Fo’tti’ by Fr. Alwyn Serrao, on June 25 at 5.30 pm. ‘Paying Guest’ written by Arun Raj Rodrigues, on June 25 at 7.30 pm.
Christopher D’Souza Neenasam has directed all these plays.
The public has been invited to attend Kalakulotsav and encourage the artists. Entry is free.
