Bantwal, Aug 12: The state high court on Friday August 12, directed the state government to produce the case diary relating to the incident of stone pelting during the funeral procession of RSS activist Sharath Madiwala.

Justice Arvind Kumar made this ruling while hearing the petition filed by right-wing activists, Satyajith Suratkal, Harish Poonja, Muralikrishna Hasanthadka, Sharan Pumpwell and Pradeep Kumar praying for quashing of cases filed against them for instigating stone pelting during the funeral.

A day before the high court had resented the failure of the prosecution to file objections to applications moved by five of the accused.

Justice Arvind Kumar on Friday postponed the case after directing the government to produce the case diary maintained by police in Bantwal under whose jurisdiction the stone pelting took place.
