Udupi, Aug 12: District in-charge minister, Pramod Madhwaraj has said that he does not have any plans to leave Congress and join BJP.
He was reacting to reports appearing in a section of the press that he might quit Congress.
The minister termed these reports as being far away from truth.
"My loyalty to Congress and chief minister are firm and unshaken," he said in a press statement, adding that there was no question of joining the BJP.
The youth empowerment and sports minister further stated that these reports are handiwork of vested interests backed by sinister designs and are baseless.
