Passenger service fee at airports may go up

Mumbai, Aug 21 (PTI): The Passenger Service Fee (PSF), levied on air travellers, might marginally go up as the authorities are finding it difficult to manage the escalating cost of airport security, government officials said.

The differences between the ministries of home and civil aviation over who would bear the cost of providing security at airports continued to linger with the civil aviation ministry arguing that it was the responsibility of the central government to provide security since it was a sovereign function.

The home ministry had set up a committee to find out the actual cost of providing security at the 98 functional airports.

What else they need from common people?
they are charging convenience fees in every ticket, even i wonder why it's been charging on my ticket?
they are charging gst on tickets which we booked, now why again airport authorities, need additional money from common public for new scam?
if modi will pay all these charges from his pocket for his luxurious tours, he will realise even a small amount of money which common public paying it's very hard them to earn., by the way i forgot modi only have rs. 4200/- so he can travel free.

You are also writing comments free of cost.. ! Are you tax payer? Good work.. Then why you are abusing others and how you know others are not tax payers? Some people wants everything FREE of cost because they born in India.. When we demand security and safety from the Army and Government it is our duty to pay for it. Nothing will come free of cost.
