Mumbai: Ganeshotsava celebrated at Rama Mandira, Vadala

Mumbai, Aug 26: GSB samiti celebrated their 63rd Ganeshotsava festival on Friday, August 25.

The priests since morning set in motion the religious rituals. Thousands of people waited patiently for a glimpse of the golden idol of Ganesha. Vedamurthi Sudhama Anantha Bhat and other priests conducted the rituals.



Executive president of GSB Ganeshotsava festival committee of trustees, N N Pal, president Ullas D Kamath, chief convener Govind S Bhat, Subhash Pai, Akshay M Pai, Sunil Pai, Kamalaksha G Saraf, hundreds of devotees offered prayers to the deity. N N Pal said that the religious and cultural celebrations will conclude on Tuesday September 5.

Gowda Saraswath Brahmins from Mumbai had started the annual celebrations on a small scale in 1955.
