Mumbai, Sep 2: Shakathpuram Vidya peetam seer Krishnananda Theertha Swamiji arrived at Ramamandira Dwarakanath Bhavan in Vadala on Friday September 2 and prayed to Ramachandra and Mahaganapathi deities there.
Gowda Saraswathi Ganeshotsava festival committee executive president N N Pal and office bearers cordially welcomed the seer by beating drums, playing music and shouting slogans. Pal informed that GSB festival committee is celebrating its 63rd annual Ganesha festival this time. Krishnananda seer addressed the devotees and blessed them.
GSB Ganeshotsava festival committee president Ullas D Kamath, chief convener Govind S Bhat, Subhash Pai, Akshay M Pai, Sunil Pai, Kamalaksha G Saraf and hundreds of devotees were present.
N N Pal said that the annual Ganesha festival will conclude with cultural and religious celebrations on Tuesday September 5.
