Mumbai, Sep 28: The 54th annual Navaratri festival was celebrated at Geethambika temple, Asalfa. Arasina Kumkuma programme was held in this connection on Tuesday evening September 26.

Bantara Sangha Mumbai women's wing executive president Latha Jayarama Shetty was the chief guest. Bhandary Seva Samiti Mumbai women's wing executive president Shobha S Bhandary Kadandale, Mumbai University Kannada department professor Dr Poornima Sudhaker Shetty, Sharada B Mathe and Anitha Kiran Langne were present on the dais as guests of honour.



Chief priest Vidwan Raghupathi Bhat, Udupi conducted the religious rituals. Advisory committee member Karnur Mohan Rai welcomed everyone, compered the programme and proposed the vote of thanks.
