Mumbai: Bharath Co-operative Bank bags first prize for overall performance

Mumbai, Sep 28: The Brihan Mumbai Nagari Sahakari Banks Association Ltd (an association of co-operative banks), here on Wednesday September 27 held their annual award function. Bharath Co-operative Bank Ltd was awarded first prize for overall best performance among co-operative banks for the financial year.

The function was held at Hotel City Point, Khodadad Circle, Dadar (E), Mumbai and was attended by senior management and directors from co-operative banks.



The bank's association president Dattaram Chalke, CEO C B Adsul and other office bearers handed over the award to Bharath Bank executive president Jaya C Suvarna, vice president, advocate Rohini J Salian, CEO and managing director C R Mulki.

The bank has collected more than Rs 2,001 crore as deposits during the year 2015-16 while providing excellent service.

Senior officials of Bharath Bank were present.
