Mumbai: Girija Lokesh selected for international award 'Dhwani Sriranga'

Mumbai, Sep 28: 'Dhwani Sriranga', which has been identifying and felicitating those serving in dramatics in the last ten years, has selected Girija Lokesh for the international drama award this year.

The award is being presented in memory of Adya Rangacharya. B Vijayashree, T S Nagabharana, Srinivasa Kappanna, Mukhyamanthri Chandru, Dr H S Shivaprakash, Umashree, Dr N D Shetty and others have received the award so far.

The award will be presented in Emirates theater Dubai in the evening of October 6. Meanwhile, 'Swapnavasavadatthe' a drama written by Kirthinath Kurthukote and directed by Prakash Rao Payyar will be performed onstage.

More than thirty artistes will act in the drama.
