Mumbai: Kannada welfare society inaugurates its auditorium

Mumbai, Sep 29: Kannada welfare society at Ghatkopar east on the eve of their golden jubilee celebration inaugurated their Mahesh S Shetty air conditioned auditorium on Wednesday September 27.

Kannada welfare society president Navin Shetty Innabalike presided over the celebration. Auditorium sponsors Baba's group executive president Mahesh S Shetty, Bantara Sangha Mumbai president Prabhaker L Shetty, Manifold Cooperative Credit Society limited executive president Kadandale Suresh S Bhandary, Vishwa Bantara Okoota vice president Aikala Harish Shetty, Welcome Packaging Industries proprietor Ravindranath M Bhandary, young entrepreneur Steven Furtado and others released request letters and distributed widow pension.

Society vice president Jayaraj Jain, honorary secretary Sudhaker Elooru, treasurer Raghunath Shetty, joint secretary Ramanand Shetty, joint treasurer Peter Rodrigues, women's wing president Asha G Shetty, cultural committee president Narayan Shetty Nandalike, former president Vidyananda Rai were on the dais.

Ganahoma and Satyanarayana Mahapooje were performed by Vidwan Joisha. The programme started after prayer by women wing members. Society president Navin Shetty Innabalike welcomed everyone and delivered the keynote address. Ashok Pakkala, Jaya Shetty and Narayana Shetty Nandalike compered the programme.
