Bantwal: Complaint lodged against BJP district president for insulting Ramanath Rai

Bantwal, Oct 18: A complaint has been filed against BJP district president Sanjeeva Mathandoor for allegedly using derogatory language against district in-charge minister Ramanath Rai and Puttur MLA Shankuntala Shetty.

The complaint was filed by Vittal Congress block in Vittal police station here on Wednesday October 18.

The BJP had organized a day-long 'Satyagraha' against the Congress at Vittal on Tuesday October 17. In his adress to the protestors, Sanjeeva Matandoor allegedly used abusive terms in Tulu to refer to Ramanath Rai.

He also allegedly made abusive remarks against Shakuntala Shetty.

On Wednesday, Vittal block Congress president Muralidhar Rai filed a complaint against Mathandoor in the police station.

Vittal police have registered a case.

    If you want to have your share of 15 minutes of fame, even you can file a complaint against any political figure in a magistrate’s court.
    Most prominent political figures would every now and then would say something which may be repulsive to someone.
    So, next time Amit Shah or Yeddy says that Congress is a “chor” party, you go and file a complaint that it has hurt your sentiment as a congress supporter (it does not matter what your political inclinations are).
    It is a different matter altogether that nothing happens to all these complaints. The courts have much serious matters to deal with than the bruised ego of some petty politician or an unemployed lawyer.

    Nowa days its become comon to blame each other and abusing each other .why these people are not focusing on their good work towards society to solve issues problems .And we are people electing these type of leaders .In front these leaders fighting abusing each other and fooling us .Later they will join hands .And also these leaders jump from party to party for their benifit

    This same Sanjeeva was protesting in Mangalore few days back for using foul language against Modi by minister Roshan Baig and now he is doing the same thing? BJP is full of Hypocrites.
