Bengaluru: Upright KAS officer Mathai says he is provoked to commit suicide

Daijiworld Media Network – Bengaluru (RJP)

Bengaluru, Oct 28: Whistleblower and upright KAS officer K Mathai, who has accused three IAS officers of harassment, said that he is being provoked to commit suicide.

Mathai made this revelation through a press statement on Friday, October 27.

"I had sought permission of the chief secretary to prosecute three IAS officers, two under secretaries and one section officer of the department of personnel and administrative reforms (DPAR). But the letter has been forwarded to the very officer against whom I have complained,” his statement says.

“DPAR officials are provoking me to commit suicide by creating documents to punish me. Now, the only way left for justice is suicide," Mathai has stated in the statement.

Appointment with CM

Mathai, who unearthed the illegal hoardings scam in the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) to the tune of several crores and irregularities in the allotment of sites in the Mandya Urban Development Authority, said his application requesting an appointment with the chief minister has been pending for the last one year.

"The IAS mafia is not granting me the appointment," said Mathai.

Mathai is currently the Sakala Mission administrative officer.

Daijiworld had reported some months back how Mathai commuted to the office from his residence by bicycle as he was not allotted official car.

When one wants to lead an honest life he will face several powerful dishonest people.
In the vastness of governance and politicking their voices are hardly heard.
Either they get fed up and accept training center type roles or they end themselves in frustration.
Some ripples will erupt for a while.
But only to be subdued by the massive waves of corrupt fraternity.

Right from bottom to top there is a huge percentage of corrupt officials and politicians and India's educated class is kept busy with religion and culture...so that they do not think of what are the real issues of our nation. Politicians are busy visiting religious places to please general public , while they should be busy with science , technology and Development.

Honest Officers do not have a life in Karnataka.
    Lokayukta is a example.
In Earlier govts, every second day we used to hear about Lokayukta raids Venkatachaliah or Santosh Hegde.
Dongis used to cry that time, WHY NO LOKAYUKTA IN GUJRAT!!!!! ( Now full sailent).
Today...some ACB...which reports to CM. Siddu decides what case ACB must take...& what should be the outcome of the report. Police officers are committing suicide and Officers are considering to suicide.
Only "Pettha Kalvers" have acche din in Karnataka.

For some people, being honest is not that easy and such people might find themselves lying almost every day (people who are provoking him to commit suicide) . Truth will come out one day or the other.
