New Delhi: Mayawati Withdraws Support to UPA Govt

 PTI

NEW DELHI, Jun 21: BSP supremo Mayawati on Saturday announced withdrawal of support to the UPA government stating that the Centre has failed to deal with the menace of inflation and is neglecting Uttar Pradesh.

Mayawati accused UPA of meting out step-motherly treatment to her party and Uttar Pradesh government.

Mayawati has written to President Pratibha Patil, Lok Sabha Speaker Somnath Chatterjee and Congress president Sonia Gandhi informing about her party's withdrawal of support.

Mayawati cited inflation and UPA's failure to keep promises for welfare of 'sarvajan samaj' (all communities) as reason for withdrawal of support.

Mayawati said her party, which has 17 MPs, will decide on no-confidence vote on "merit" if such a motion is moved in Parliament.

Once a great man said 'A person who is NOT fit to do anything joins the politics, so he can survive as well as make enough money for his generation'. And this saying has been proved to many politicians. Mayawati was a simple teacher once and today she is the CM of UP and tomorrow may be her ambitions are to become PM of India one day.

Yes, it is not her fault fully but the voters as well. They believed Mayawati would do wonders for them and elected her and today they are only suffering. She is the most power hungry politician in India. Mayawati, eversince came to power only did was trying to silence the opposition.

For the voters, she must have forgotten them already because polticians memory is short just like voters. Again, our democracy has no control over politicians because they can decide whatever they want, even floating a new party, if their demands are not met.

Therefore, if we want to follow a true democracy, then we should have only two parties because coaltions like this will not allow country to develop. And when the Government fail to perform, they blame the coalition. In the end our country is suffering.

Voters, wake up and only vote two parties which are existing from many years and do not give the opportunity to those politicians who are hungry for power. If you do, then blaming the Government is NO use.

Ms Mayawati, inflation is global because of raising petro dollars. First tell me, if u are so much concerned about common person, then why did u celebrate your birthday nationwide spending crores of rupees. Yous should have given this money away to the poor and needy.

Dont be hypocite. At the maximum we may have to expect Loka sabha election six months prior to its scheduled date.
