Bengaluru, Nov 3: Sri Ram Sene chief, Pramod Muthalik, who is agitated at the fact that BJP, which he says utilized his services during their times of need and then refused to field him as a party candidate, vowed to teach a lesson to the saffron party by joining hands with Shiv Sena.

"My share of contributions and efforts were significant in helping BJP to rise to power during the previous hustings. BJP, which came to power with the support of Hindu outfits like Sri Ram Sene and Bajrang Dal, has now forgotten the help it drew from these organizations. It is dilly-dallying in the matter of allotting me a ticket for the 2018 assembly election in the state. It will have to face consequences of this blunder," he thundered.

Muthalik at the same time, hastened to add that he has not yet decided about the constituency from which he will enter the election and that talks with Shiv Sena are on. "We will enter into an understanding with Shiv Sena to field candidates in about a hundred constituencies in the state. In this process, we will set aside differences over Marathi and border issues, we will enter into an agreement on others," he informed.

Reacting to this development, water resources minister, M B patil, said that the people of Karnataka have witnessed anti-Kannada activities with which Shjiv Sena has been involved with. He asserted that Karnataka government, which is committed to achieve development of Kannada land and language, will never allow an anti-Kannada party to get foothold in Karnataka.

JD(S) MLC, Basavaraj Horatti, urged the state government not to allow Shiv Sena, which has always been meddling with Karnada language and border dispute with Maharashtra, should not be allowed to enter Karnataka. He wanted the government to order externment of Shiv Sena activists from the state, considering that they observe black day on Kannada Rajyotsava. "We apolitically oppose Shiv Sena's entry into our state," he stressed.
