Bali, Jun 23: A round table conference on ‘What’s new… and what’s due in dermatotherapy’, was organized by Torrent Laboratories in Bali, Indonesia, recently. The meet aimed at receiving valuable feedback from dermatologists about the needs of futuristic medicines in their field of expertise.   

Dr Ganesh S Pai, medical director of Derma Care, addressed the conference held at Ramada Hotel Convention Centre. The meet was attended by 50 dermatologists from all over India, who were chosen for their leadership skills.

Speakers dwelled on recent advances in topical therapy, recent advances in systemic therapy, and recent trends in cosmeceuticals. Dr Pai talked about newer applications of lasers in the treatment of cosmetic colour tattoos, and the effect of hormone disorders in women and facial hair growth. The conference was followed by cultural events depicting the rich heritage of Bali.
