Bangalore, Jun 30: Lioness  and Lions Clubs of Spoorthi Dist 324 D6 organized the New team Installation function at Bala Mano Vikas Kendra, Malleswaram, Bangalore on Sunday June 29.

The program started with invocation followed by flag salutation. Lns Naveen who welcomed the gathering, appreciated the Lions and the Lionesses for their whole hearted support to the last year's team and in adding extension of a Lioness club unit with 20 members to the club. Ln secretary Shashi Anand and  Lns secretary Prabha presented the annual reports on the financial expenditure o their respective clubs, to the extent of Rs 2,77,060 and Rs 2,90,000 respectively, majority of which was towards permanent projects of the club involving many orphanages and schools.

Chief guest Ln Krishna Reddy PMJF, Multiple Chairman – 2008 in his address, thanked all the Lionesses for their unceasing contribution to the cause of Lionism with voluntary services in spite of their busy day to day life. He felt a strong need for them to continue contributing to the society. If we do not get satisfaction in giving to others, then we are not adults but still children, as children get happy when they receive something, up to a certain age, he reasoned. He advised everyone not to become the people of senses but to be the people of values.

Ln Vidya and Lns Pushpa and their respective teams were installed by Ln Reddy, who briefed the respective members of their responsibilities towards Lionism. This was followed by felicitations and honouring. The program came to close with high tea.
