Sullia: Tipper wheel crushes head of two-wheeler rider

Sullia, Nov 28: After a two-wheeler unexpectedly tripped on the road, its rider was tossed on to the road. Instantly, wheels of a tipper truck that was near the two-wheeler in question at that time moved over the rider's head, killing him instantly.

The accident happened on Monday November 27 morning in the town. The deceased was Avin (27), son of Alankalya Venkappa Gowda from Mandekolu village.

Trucks carrying loads of fish had lined up at the middle of the road in front of the town panchayat fish market in the town for unloading purpose. The tipper truck was overtaking this line of lorries when Avin tried to overtake this vehicle.

The two-wheeler, in this process, moved over the edge of the road. As a result, the rider lost his balance and the motor bike fell on the road. The wheels of the tipper moved over him as a result of which Avin lost his life instantly.
