Kasargod: Collision of motor bikes - youth killed

Kasargod, Dec 8: After two motor bikes came face to face and collided with each other at Gunaje near Mundithadka in the district on the night of Wednesday December 6, a youth was killed. Two others sustained serious injuries.

The deceased has been identified as Mithilaj (18), son of Abbas from Maniyampare. Anwesh (24) and Jithsh (17) from Chennaguli sustained serious injuries. Both of them have been admitted into Pariyaram Medical College Hospital here.

Mithilaj was a student of a private educational institution in the town. He has left behind parents, five brothers and three sisters.

Mithilaj had visited Shafiq from Gunaje, a relative, on Wednesday as Shafiq was scheduled to leave for a foreign country the next day. On his return home, a bike coming from the opposite direction hit him at Gunaje. Mithilaj, who was grievously injured, died whilst being taken to hospital.

The police said that 58 bottles of liquor were found in the motor bike in which Anwesh and Jithesh were travelling. Badiyadka police have registered a case.
