Kuwait: PWAK organises annual get-together

Kuwait, Feb 12: Pamboor Welfare Association Kuwait (PWAK) organized its annual get-together at Badur Travels Hall, Salmiyah here on February 9.

The celebration started at 7:30 pm with introduction by master of ceremony Shwan Pereira and prayer by Wilma Menezes. Samson Noronha, president, welcomed the chief guest Ronie Fernandes, president, Abbassiya Konkani Families Kuwait, Stany Martis, president, Bellevision Kuwait and Steve Rodrigues, president, Kanjar Welfare Association Kuwait on stage with flowers and all the parishioners. More than 100 guests and well-wishers were present.

Lavita Monterio, general secretary read the annual report.



All the sponsors, participants and parishioners were honored by Samson Noronha and Lavita with flowers.

Samson Noronha praised PWAK members’ dedication towards Pamboor parish for the last 4 years.

As part of entertainment programme, beautiful dances performed by Pamboor parish children Sweedal, Viola, Dale and Dalen, lovely songs by Morvine Quadras (GVOM-4 winner), Kavin, Avalon Noronha, Stenwill Menezes and live music by Antony Fernandes and team enthralled all.

American style housie game and auction game was conducted by Sunil Menezes. Prizes were distributed to all the winners. Lots of spot prizes were given away during the event.

Johnson Fernandes delivered the vote of thanks. Lavina Fernandes rendered grace before meal. M&M Caterers provided delicious food for the evening. Photography was handled by Vinod Monerio and rocking music was played by DJ Roshan.
