Moodbidri, Apr 3: In an unfortunate incident that occurred on the evening of Monday, April 2, at Moodumarnadu village near here, a woman died as she fell into the well due to accidental slipping of her foot.
Nalini Poojarthi, a resident of Moodumarnadu Mullagudde, is the deceased lady. Nalini had gone to pump water from the well to the farm. It is suspected that she might have fallen accidentally while she peeped into the well to check the level of water in it.
Nalini, who was a widow, is survived by two daughters.
Moodbidri police have registered a case in this regard.
