Bengaluru, May 17: Within hours of becoming Karnataka Chief Minister, B S Yeddyurappa has ordered the transfer of five IPS officers and an IAS officer with immediate effect on May 17, Thursday.
According to an official notification released by the government of Karnataka, M Lakshminarayana, additional chief secretary to public works, ports and island, water transport department, was transferred and appointed as additional chief secretary to chief minister, and upgraded the post as equivalent to additional chief secretary to government home department.
K Annamalai, IPS, superintendent of police of Chikkamagaluru district has been transferred as the SP of Ramanagar district.
Amar Kumar Pandey, IPS, additional director general of police, Railways, Bengaluru has been transferred as the additional director general of police, Intelligence, Bengaluru.
Sandeep Patil, IPS, deputy inspector general of police, KSRP has been transferred as deputy inspector general of police, Intelligence, Bengaluru.
D Devaraja, IPS, superintendent of police, Bidar district has been transferred as the deputy commissioner of police, central division, Bengaluru city.
S Girish, IPS, superintendent of police, Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), Bengaluru is transferred as deputy commissioner of police, north east division, Bengaluru city.
