Mangaluru: HFF to organize blood donation camp on May 19

Mangaluru, May 18: Humanity First Foundation (HFF) will organize a blood donation camp in association with AJ Hospital on May 19 at St Francis Xavier Church School Hall, Bejai from 8 am to 5 pm.

First 100 eligible donors will receive a memento from HFF. All donors will receive a certificate from AJ Hospital, in recognition of their contribution to the society.

Humanity First Foundation (HFF) a registered human rights organization which was started in Mumbai in 2011 by Naved Sheikh with a strong motive to fight and support for the rights of common people, to extend a helping hand for the most deserving individuals in the society, irrespective of any caste or religion. HFF Wings were extended to other cities including in Mangaluru in Sept 2017. There are around more than 50 members actively working and supporting for the cause. Local HFF have taken an active participation and organized charity events like, visiting to the old age home at Olavina Halli, where they contributed medicines and all the other necessary amenities required by the inmates for their day-today living and requirements.

HFF also took initiative of 33 education of poor kids in Mangaluru for the past three years, distributed blankets for the people sleeping on the streets, visited several orphanages and ashrams and contributed items- and managed to distribute 17 wheel chairs for the poor and the needy. HFF also arranged a charity event ‘Clarence Pinto Nite’ at the Don Bosco Hall on October 8, 2017, proceeds of which were used for the medical expenses for the poor and the less privileged.

HFF was able to achieve this milestone and were successful in reaching the less-privileged, only with the support of the good Samaritans who willingly extended their hands to become the members of the HFF family and worked together hand in hand.
