Berlin, May 19 (IANS): Borussia Monchengladbach have signed midfielder Keanan Bennetts from English Premier League outfit Tottenham Hotspur, both sides have confirmed.
The England U-21 international will stay until summer 2022 after penning a four-year deal with the German top division club, reports Xinhua news agency.
"Keanan can play on several attacking positions. He has played for Tottenham in the Premier League 2 and in the UEFA Youth League. We trust him to make the step into the Bundesliga and are delighted that he has opted for Monchengladbach," sporting director Max Eberl said on Friday.
Borussia's new arrival has made 32 competitive appearances and provided nine goals and eight assists in all competitions for Tottenham's second team.
"Borussia is one of the biggest teams in Germany's top flight. I am looking forward to the great atmosphere in the Borussia Park stadium," the 19-year-old told the club's official homepage.
Dieter Hecking's men complete the 2017-2018 Bundesliga season on the ninth position of the standings.
